The first one is eggplant, the second one is plum (this isn't the dress though, just the same fabric). The eggplant has a redder tone, which means that it would probably go better with fall colors. What color shoes would you wear? I was actually leaning towards gold, which would blend better with our fall color scheme anyway....
im gonna do a similar color dress and going with gold shoes too

I like the first one a little better because it's a little darker... and I honestly think you could go with black, silver or gold for the shoes. Whichever you prefer.

They are both pretty.. I love the plum tho its more bold! gold shoes or siler would be pretty!

Id go with the plum and silver shoes...silver shoes go with almost all colors

At first i couldnt tell the diff but now that i'm staring at it, i like the plum better. And i like the gold with it but you can also wear silver with that dress

the plum is just more vibrant, but they are so close you can't go wrong with either one

Plum! Both pretty but the first is a little muddy; an issue I had with some of the dresses I looked at in this type of color. The plum stands out and will go well with many flowers.
