flowers or bm dresses?

I am pretty sure I know what color I want my BM dresses, but Idk if i should get the dresses to match my flowers, or flowers to match my dresses?

i did flowers becasue the flowers no matter what can be changed. Also everyting is in contract so we know what we are getting. I already know what color I am having the girls wear and that isnt going to change since I have purched almost everythign in that color scheme. You would be fine doing either or.

I am doing dresses first - mostly b/c there are so many shades of pinks out there that I want to make sure I get the exact color of my BM dress first before I start with the flowers.

I'm a visual person - so knowing that the dress is picked first helps me visualize the flowers.

BUT it's really up to you and what you are comfortable with. I know some girls who do the flowers first.

I am most likely doing navy dresses, and I plan on doing blue and purple flowers (like jewel tones).. do you think that will look ok? I am having such a hard time finding pics of that combo.

I did flowers first, but only because my BM dresses will be black so there is nothing to match.. If I picked a color for the dresses I would have wanted to wait till its definite so I dont confuse my color scheme.. In this case, my flowers are the only color scheme and now everything has to match them

I just did a search on Google images for navy bridesmaid dresses and flowers, navy and purple flowers and a couple of things popped up

ha - i had the same question! I am doing BM dresses first. and then bringing a swatch to the florist.

I think I have a bit easier bc I only have a MOH to match. I'm doing florist than her dress. However bc its just her, I think we're going to look at regular stores too.

I already picked myu flowers because my BMs will be wearing black, but my MOH is wearing red and I knew I wanted her to have black calla lillies, but I would definitely get the dresses first if you are going with a color.

Either way, you can always change your flowers after the fact as long as they dont drastically increase the cost. Like roses are roses, you can work out the exact shade later.
