I love the candles but ask your RH first. I wanted to do them and even bought all the candles and JT said I couldn't it was a fire hazard, and a liability to them

It's funny that you said 'Coming to America' Thats 1 of my fav movies and I wanted to have dancers with drummers as we entered the rec. and FH said 'hell no, what do you think this is Coming to America'..lol

I think that the candles are sexier and they might look prettier but I also like the candy because it's dif and it can double as your favor. I dont know what the other stuff looklik ethat your using so I cant give a def answer but If everything else is more romantic and traditional go with the candles, if the rest of your stuff is fun and less traditional go with the candy.

But both our family's are african so we're having our traditional american ceremony but then the reception is more traditional african

I reallllllly want African dancers and drummers, 90% sure I'm going to get them!
I think the candles match more as far as formality but I love the candy for the very reason that it doubles as a favor.
