Hey ladies I'm having some trouble with my dress. My budget is $2000. I have not had that OMG THIS IS THE DRESS I'VE BEEN DREAMING OF MY WHOLE LIFE AND I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT 'moment'.
Did all of you experience this and i just have to keep looking?
Here are two dresses in the running:
The first one (Demetrios) I have to do work on. I want it to be a sweetheart top. ($800)
The second I think is a little too expensive for being such a simple dress. (its $1800) But its Vineyard from Pricilla of Boston so I know it's good quality.

Of those two I like the first better I love the detail.....but you need to LOVE it...Id say keep looking it may make you love one the two you have or will help you find the one you love HTH ![]()

I have tried on other styles and this one does look best on me. I know that it does and its not just in my head bc with the second dress everyone in Kleinfields was stopping to stare and compliment me. Two girls even asked to try it on after me. I think its the price honestly that is turning me off...![]()

If you dont feel either is THE dress, I'd keep looking.
And you aren't alone.. I had gone to about 15 stores and tried on at least 10 at each store... so thats over 150 dresses before i found exactly what i wanted.

I got the feeling with mine. I found the mermaid dresses hard to walk & sit in but they looked great on me also, so I was bummed, but instead I went for one that is fitted to mid hip then goes out. I am very slim but have a booty so if thats you then try a dress like that. My dress is in my profile if you want to see what i am talking about. HTH

don't settle, keep looking, seriously, its a lot of money to pay for a dress your just going to settle with

I would keep looking! When I was trying on dresses, i wasnt even looking for what I found. When I put on THE DRESS, My mom actually cried and so did I. I knew I had to have it. ALso my Aunt had a similar dress like the first one and she made it a sweetheart neckiline also. She Was very uncomfortable sitting and walking. She looked great in it, but today she wishes whe went for something that flared out a little more. Remember no one has to like it but you, just make sure you feel like a princess in it and dont just settle. Good Luck!

I like the first one better.
If you still dont have that OMG feeling keep looking! That's the only advise I can give you. I wasnt 100% about my dress and I regret not waiting to get the butterfly feeling in my stomach.

This is my honest opinion, and flame me if you wish, but if you're very hippy, I would stay away from dresses like that. They're not going to be very flattering. Especially in your photgraphs. And if you haven't had that moment where you've really 'connected' with a dress, maybe you should keep looking.
I have to agree and feel the same way flame me if you wish, but you really have to be very, very thin to wear this type of dress. Plus if you are not feeling that special feeling then neither of these dresses is THE ONE!
I think you should keep looking.
