The first dress is basically everything i was anti before i started trying gowns on lol but when i put it on, i dont know it just worked. I felt really bride-y and i really like it.
The second dress (which is NOT me in it btw, but the picture on the website was lousy so i just googled it and i hope this chick doesnt mind!) is more of the look i was going for. I feel like it has a more vintage/couture look and while i LOVE that and love the dress, i def didnt feel AS bride-y in it compared to the other one.
What do you guys think??

But sooo many people end up getting something completely different from what they 'thought' they wanted.... think about how you felt when you had it on- go back and try them on again- you might have had a bit of a closed mind the first time.
I saw your post of you in it - STUNNING!! - which is what made me want to try it on, even though i thought i would hate it on me. But i didnt! And i felt really princessy in it, which is totally the opposite of the sort of dress i was looking for, but i felt so pretty!! lol
the other dress i feel is the kind of dress i really wanted, but i felt like it was a little plain maybe? but i love the look of it..........

LOVE the second because it makes the bride look long and lean but you have to wear whatever makes you feel most bride-like.

I too ended up liking dresses that were way different then I originally wanted.
You should definitely go with the dress that you feel most comfortable and beautiful in. Just because it's not what you imagined yourself in originally, doesn't mean it's not the right one! That being said, the first one is jaw droppingly stunning!
Go with the one you can't stop thinking about (in a good way, of course!)!

They are both beautiful dresses. You should decide based on which on suits your style better. My final decision was between two dresses...they both looked good but I went with the one that was more me.

thank you SO much for all your opinions ladies. It's really helpful, even though ultimately is has to be how I feel in it i still value what you guys have to say.
I think I am leaning towards the first one, I think I have been from the start but I was scared to because it was everything I didnt want in a dress. not that i dont think its GORGEOUS, I must if its in my top 2, but i just didnt think i would ever end up liking that style on me. i think what i am most in love with is the top and i know Maggie makes that same dress with the same top, but just an a line bottom and bottons down the back as opposed to the corset, which is what i prefer..... but at the same time, i think the dramatic bottom is what makes me feel so bridey in it. it doesnt help that i am hopelessly indecisive and i want to make sure i am obsessed with it for that reason!!
Anyways, sorry for rambling and thank you all again!
I personally don't like pickups, so I would have chose 2, but I love #1 without the pickups.
I'm an anti-fluff bride too :D
I tried on the fluffy pickups, just as curiousity with my mother. She actually pointed and laughed at me. Apple doesn't fall far .. go figure ..

So, after I made you guys all totally crazy with helping me choose between those 2 dresses, i didnt end up getting either lol. But, I GOT MY DRESS TODAY!!! and i am so freakin happy and excited!!!! i love it so much - i didnt ever want to take it offffffffff! (so thank you to whoever told me to look out for that feeling )

I felt really bride-y in it!! thats what made me love it so much - it had the slim top like i wanted but still had a really full skirt (i had an extra trumpet crinoline underneath) so that I still felt princessy but didnt have to lose that vintage look i loved so much
