flower michele or designs by rose? if u have can u post bo-k & centerpieces? whats the price difference if any between the two? hows the service?

I would recm'd meeting with both. They are both very popular among the brides on these boards. Designs by Rose is known for meeting EVERY budget. Flower Michelle is just a decor genius!

I didn't meet with Flower Michelle but I did book with Designs by Rose and can honestly say that they have answered all of my questions, came in way under what I thought I'd spend on flowers and have the most wonderful ideas.

i met with both... cant remember exact prices but flower michele was way over what designs by rose quoted me... its all about who you feel most comfortable with too... and of course your budget!meet with both and see what you think.. i dont think you can go wrong either way.. besides being very talented - i liked that Rose & her mom could remember every event and were able to show me pictures of whatever color scheme and ideas that came across my mind... it was more a personal experience than at the other florists - where i just felt like another customer..

I didn't go to Designs by Rose but I did go to FM and it was between him and who I ultimately booked, Verbena Designs. I didn't pick FM b/c I feel like he may be getting too big for what he can handle. He doesn't have the personalized service he used to b/c he has a lot of weddings now and lately I have not been seeing the reviews he was once getting. I picked Verbena b/c she does one wedding a day, worked in my budget and it will be a very personalized experience with her designing my flowers which is important to me. I suggest checking her out if you are still on the fence. Good luck!

I checked out both, I was going to book Designs by Rose, b/c Doris & Rose were so great to work with.....but I moved too slow and one my date twins booked them!! DBR was actually a little more expensive than Flower Michelle....but I also was not asking for orchids or any of the flowers that DBR was willing to include when I was quoted by FM. So I guess it worked out b/c I booked Flower Michelle and they're less expensive! I love all the work I've seen of theirs in reviews. I've seen one or two reviews that have mentioned minor problems, but the flowers have always been gorgeous!!

i picked Designs by Rose for a few reasons
#1 they were actually just really nice to talk to and made me comfortable - they also REALLY REALLY helped me when it came to talking to my mom. . . she kept adding stuff and they knew it was stuff i didnt want and they would talk her out of it
#2 the prices were VERY affordable
#3 the work is INCREDIBLE. . . i have a post on the 2008 boards with pics of my CPs and BoK - you can search for it ( i am sneaking at work so i cant search right now)
#4 i mentioned a few things that i wanted at our first meeting and randomly a month ago she emailed me bc she found what i was looking for! ( table # candles - not the votive place cards just for the table #) she ordered a sample and if i want it she will give it to me at wholesale
#5 they actually talked me OUT of things they didnt think i needed! instead of making me go over budget!
Ummm i think thats it FM if you need more help!
oh yeah and #6 i can walk there ha ha

There is NO comparison between Flower Michele and DBR...
Flower Michele has the experience and the creative mind that I needed to make my flower dreams come through.
For me I needed a complete package: Price, quality, creatvity and I had to everything that was presented to me.... I got 100% + of that at Flower Michele.

I totally disagree here... please check out my review as these were the only two florists I met with and I booked DBR hands down without a single regret for many many reasons.. They are absolutely terrific.
