ive never joined a gym or even set foot inside one. but i realize now lol that its good to excercise regardless if you want to lose weight or not, [in my case i dont] ... but id like to be a bit more toned for the wedding and whenever summer comes around...
which gym are you a member of?? any gym thats really good in particular?? i have NO idea thats why im asking...
i see a lot of NYSC- New York Sports Club on long island... any reviews about that??

Planet Fitness- they just opened 1 on Long Island- they have a few upstate!

NYSC is good and they always have great classes like 'Total Body Conditioning' which is good for toning up.
I switched from NYSC to Equinox recently just for a change of pace and I am reallhy happy with their classes too. They're only in the city so that might not work for you.
Try NYSC. They will usually give you a one week trial membership.
I currently belong to Lucille Roberts and have been a member of Sportset in RVC, Curves, and Powerhouse. I love Lucille Roberts b/c of the classes. I have heard good things about NYSC, but it's

i used to go to dolphin fitness in westbury, i moved to florida and go to la fitness but when i move back to the island i'll be going to the gym at the roosevelt field mall. i foregt the name something like xtreme fitness or something. GORGEOUS gym like the nicest gym i've EVER seen. everything they have, you name it and its only like 38 bucks a month. its ridiculously cheap

I go to NYSC and DH goes to Planet Fitness. I pay a lot more than he does but, I usually go to one of the 4 near my office at lunchtime to take Total Body Conditioning or Club Strength. There are 3 really close to where we live and 3 that aren't that are fairly close so it's so easy to go! I just have to work on getting myself there

I pay $49 a month for LA Fitness. Havent been in a while though. They offer tons of classes and it isnt a pick-up place. More laid back 30 something type of crowd. And when I did go it was alot of fun and the people were really nice.
