I picked Hawaii because thats where I'm going!!! Cruises are also very fun but I have already been on a few cruises. I wanted to try something different for the HM.

we already had the HM planned b/f the wedding, and we're going on a Caribbean Cruise (Royal Caribbean leaving from NY on the BIG SHIP.. 10 days, woo hoo!)

But nothing beats Hawaii -- it is the ultimate in beautiful and romance!! Both FH and I have been to Hawaii .. but not with each other. I went with a bunch of friends in college and he went with his family ... we both agreed that we are going to do that NEXT year for our anniversary!!

I wonder, I see you picked Kauai, are you only going to ONE island? If so, I would make it Maui. Maui may have more to offer in terms of excursions, activities, night life, etc. . yet still be romantic. Kauai is VERY beautiful and romantic, but very laid back, and not as much to do. It would make a perfect 2nd island. If you do 2 islands (which is what I did) I would then make it Maui and Kauai.

I picked St. LUcia - becuase that's where I'll be in 2 months!!!

For my HM I did Sandals St. Lucia and it was very relaxing after all the craziness of the wedding. It was also really nice not to think about money for a week after paying out so much money.

However, Hawaii is an amazing place (we went for our 1st anniversary), but it is tiring. If you think you'll be able to get to Hawaii later on, I would recommend St. Lucia.... if Hawaii is now or never, I would say Hawaii because its a place I think everyone should see once in their lives.

i'm biased b/c i am doing two of your choices. it wouldn't let me select both so i wanted to tell you my choices are sandals and the cruise. (we're doing sandals st lucia regency and 7 day southern caribbean cruise)

I think that Sandals would be better because it's not too far away. Me and FH are going to go to the Carribean for the honeymoon to relax and take a more extended far away trip the following year. JMO

I chose St Lucia...it is beautiful there - so much to see and do - and Sandals was great.

But I may be biased, I'm not a fan of cruises and I seem to have an aversion to Hawaii.

We actually had a meeting with our travel agents for Sandals last night. We are picking St. Lucia...it looks so beautiful! We would have loved, and preferred, to go to Hawaii but financially couldn't do it.

THanks girls.. I am thinking St. Lucia but Grande (thanks Ali) because it's all inclusive, we are going to be broke after the wedding!!! We'll see, I'm sure I'll keep you all posted.

I picked Sandals in St. Lucia because I really did want to go to St. Lucia, but it was out of our budget.

I Picked the hawaiian cruise b/c that what we are doing. We getto see all of the islands with out having to jump from islad to island...pack and unpack 3 or 4 times.

My choice is hawaii- that's where we're going. However, we've been to sandals st lucia and loved it. I think you'll be happy no matter which you choose!
