Which hotel is nicer?

Which would you rather recommend to your out of town guests?

Both are nice. I blocked rooms at the Huntington Hilton b/c the bar stays open much later there than the Marriot in Melville.

I got a rate of $119 from the Marriott and $129 from the Hilton. does that sound about right? I know rates vary with the time of year.

Well, my rate is $119 at the Hilton and that's for '06. That could be because it's for March (off-season) and I did the blocking over a year in advance. I do know the Marriot is a little cheaper normally. You should ask the Hilton to get it down a bit for you.

ok, thanks. I am leaning more towards the Hilton b/c I think it's nicer, and we're thinking of staying there the night of our wedding.
