I think it also depends on where your wedding is. I think that you may want to stay closer to your wedding site for ease. JMO.

Well we are getting married at the Huntington Townhouse, and we will be living in North Bellmore. So anywhere inbetween the two would be great.

Re: Which is a better place for wedding night?
We are staying at the Huntington Hilton on our wedding night. It was close to the WCC and that is where we blocked rooms for our guests. The women there were a pleasure to deal with and the suite we got was not outrageously priced. It includes champagne, breakfast in bed and late checkout. We wanted to stay somewhere nice on our wedding night but did not want to go extreme. We would rather save that extra for the HM.

Hi Scott We are staying at the Hilton. They also provide a shuttle for the guests but that is $300.

I didn't vote, because I don't know the other hotels, but I stayed at the Roslyn Claremont on my wedding night and I wasn't thrilled with it.
I wasn't impressed with the service, and you pay a lot of extra money for a 'honeymoon' suite, which just has an extra sitting area....

Re: Which is a better place for wedding night?
We will only be booking a room for ouselves. I will have to call to find out...about getting a room. I hope it is not too late.
Thanks....If it is too late, where else is there a good hotel to stay at? Danielle wants to stay at a hotel, I think it is a waste of money. We are going to be getting there at 2am, and then checking out in 10 hours after....I would rather go home to our apartment that night and then after our honeymoon, I suggested we got to the Montauk manor for 2 days

Maybe you can get a regular room instead of the bridal suite... you don't really need all that extra stuff that comes in a suite. And that is a lot cheaper.

Ditto! The Huntington Hilton was about the closest place to us , its where we blocked rooms also, and we personally didn't want to spend an EXTREME amount of money on the our wedding night suite. Since I am also staying at the Hilton the night b/f the wedding and getting ready there that morning (since we live in Westchster) it just made the most sense.
