I'm going to shop for wedding gowns at several places. I definitely want to look at Macy's. Does anyone know the difference/pros/cons of the Macy's in NYC vs Manhasset? TIA!

Same here. I went to Macys because it wasn't too far from RK Bridal. I didn't like their selections at all. They only carry Demetrios. If you like a lot of stuff meaning beadings, embroideries then you might like their selections. The ladies there werent' rude, they just don't seem like they want to work there.

I know that what's hanging on the rack is not a representation of how the dress will look. Honestly, it seemed from the rack dresses that the material was cheap and tacky-- many times it looked like threading was coming apart! Definitly go if you want to see for yourself, but if you have limited time in NYC-- go visit other stores!

Agreed. My mom got her dress there and they were AWFUL. Rude beyond belief and very unhelpful.

I liked Manhasset they were nice there but I didnt get my gown there.

bought my dress from there... FYI they dont cap on alterations, a hem and a traditional one point bustle $350.
