WHICH MEXICAN HOTEL... SECRETS OR ROYAL HIDEAWAY

ANYONE STAY AT EITHER OF THE TWO?

WE ARE LOOKING FOR ALL INCLUSIVE SINCE WE HAVE HIT ALMOST ALL OF THE SANDALS RESORTS...

ANYONE KNOW HOW THEY COMPARE TO SANDALS?

Re: WHICH MEXICAN HOTEL... SECRETS OR ROYAL HIDEAWAY

I can't speak for Secrets because I have never been, but Royal Hideaway does not compare to Sandals. It's in a class of its own and I often refer to it as a 'luxury hotel that happens to be All-Inclusive' it really was beyond amazing. It's small (200 rooms), a Leading Hotel of the World (none of Sandals hotels are) and very exclusive and lush. Pictures and review posted in the BRB...

There are other brides that have been to RH as well and I have yet to hear a bad thing.

Check out the comparison reviews on TripAdvisor.com

I was at the Secrets Capri Riviera Maya this past summer. While it was lovely, beautiful and the service was terrific, they lacked in activities and nightlife.

I have never been to either, but Royal Hideaway sounds way better and more high class. It is also more expensive.

Another vote for Royal Hideaway...but I'm biased b/c that's where we're going.

Royal Hideaway is a little more expensive but in my honest opinion, is well worth it. It's more romantic and luxurious and not as commercialized as the sandals resorts.
