Do you like your maiden name or your soon to be married name?
I like both but I like the way my married last name sounds a bit more. It flows lovely with my first name!

Re: Which name do you like better?
I love FH's last name because it is simple and easy to say and spell! My whole life, people have not been able to pronounce my last name and it's super annoying. Plus, I don't really like the sound of it. I'm really excited to be Kerri Stevens

Re: Which name do you like better?
I'm just glad that his last name is spanish as well.
I dont know if I could go from a Spanish last name to something Irish,or Jewish
NOT that I'm racist LOL Far far from it!! but my heritage is part of my identity and taking his name still keeps my Latin identity intact.
Does that make sense?
I'll be Naomi Lucero :)

Re: Which name do you like better?
Our last names rhyme. It's ridiculous. The last time we checked into a hotel, the concierge said 'oooh, you can't hyphenate those names.'
I'm pretty attached to my last name and as of right now, I don't plan on legally changing it. I will let people address me as Mrs. FH, but legally I want to remain my name.
If I do end up changing my mind, it won't be too dramatic because it sounds EXACTLY THE SAME anyway.

I like FH's better and can't wait to use it. I've always felt like mine was sort of blah. I may incorporate my korean name as my middle name so I can keep some of my culture still in my title!

Re: Which name do you like better?
I'm actually partial to my soon to be married name. However my maiden name is simple to say and spell. My married name, on the other hand, is always mispronounced and spelling it over the phone is always interesting! Still, I can't wait til its mine!

Re: Which name do you like better?
I like FH's name better! My name is the same as a certain famous POW, and it was really annoying when that story was in the news, and now when people say my name and say, why is that so familiar. After we are married, I get to be nurse Sharp! LOL. I am going to get vanity plates that say it!

Re: Which name do you like better?
Im going from a 6-letter name to a 10-letter word that is ALWAYS spelled wrong and mispronounced. I can't hyphenate it, but may keep my married name for social reasoning, and my maiden for legal (medical licensing and all) reasoning.
