Which name do you like better?

Which name do you like better?

Do you like your maiden name or your soon to be married name?

I like both but I like the way my married last name sounds a bit more. It flows lovely with my first name!

I love my last name, his is ok. I'm going to keep using both. I have no problem with a 20 letter last name!

Of course I like my maiden name because it's been with me for 26 years but I do love my soon to be married name because finally, something easy for people to pronounce correctly the first time!

Mine flows better, and I'm rather used to it, but I'm going to change it. I was actually thinking about it before I got up this morning - So much for having a short signature (going from a trunkated word to a full-blown sentence of a last name).

Let a life time of telemarketers being unable to pronounce my last name continue...

Re: Which name do you like better?

MY last name - I have issues w/ this whole name changing thing.

Not that there is anything wrong w/ his but when you grow up have a 'different' last name, for me, I like it and its kinda become part of who i am. His is a bit more simplier.

I've gone back and forth about getting rid of my middle name and using my last name as my middle when i take his but my mom might freak out LOL.

There is also a lot of family things that go w/ my name and it just kinda breaks me heart

anyway - i will be taking his but my last name is so much cooler lol

Re: Which name do you like better?

I honestly cannot wait to change my name to his. My last name is very german and the first 2 letters are vowels .. so of course no one can ever pronounce it. It will be nice having a nice and easy and classic irish last name
