I am planning to get my unofficial MOH (long story, but I have a MOH and unofficial MOH ) a special gift. She likes brown or tan- and right now she has a tan Guess bag with the guess symbols and pink embroidery. I was thinking of getting her one of these two bags as part of her gift. What do you thing? #1 or #2? I tend to have a more out there style, so any input would help alot.

i'm not a big fan of coach except maybe for their luggage. also i'm not so crazy about the monogram. it's over and done with you could say. the BR is nice but i'm not exactly wow'd. forgive me, but i say keep looking.

i really like both, and while I may be biased,b/c I have the same coach bag) I also like it b/c it's a better all around bag...I would be more likely to be ok using the Coach bag with more colors and outfits than I would the brown bag..

the style of the coach one is not something i would use the br bag is nice-id prefer that
im wondering how much you are looking to spend? kate spade has cute stuff too

I love kate spade. My MOH doesn't really like patterned bags though or bright colors besides brown or tan.

I have to say as some one who only buys designer bags- the BR ones have really cuaght my eye- they look great and they remind of a high end designer bag at a reasonable price

As much as I love coach, my co-worker has the BR bag in black and I loved it - she sais it's the perfect size

I love kate spade. My MOH doesn't really like patterned bags though or bright colors besides brown or tan.
Based on what you just said her tastes are I'd go for the BR bag. It's nice and has style. I like Coach bags but don't go for name alone- choose what's more her....can't go wrong tho!
