Re: Which one is better?

hmm- I probably wouldnt give any suggestions

for 1, people may take it litterally and you can get 40 bathrobes

maybe have a cute poem or something saying 'help the bride complete their home' (im not good at wording but you get the idea.

Is there a reason you arent registering?

honestly...if i had to choose, i would go with 2...but i would personally not coose either...i think you should eliminate the suggestions...she will get so many of those same few things...JMHO

I like the rhyming idea....that's a cute way to get your idea across without sounding 'pushy'

I'm going to agree with a few of the other ladies...

if you put suggestions there is a good chance she will get a lot of duplicate gifts.
people tend to take things like that literally.

You don't have to put an insert in at all if she isn't registered. When the guests call to RSVP they will most likely ask if she's registered...the person they are speaking to can say 'oh, she's not registered, but I'm sure she'd love some things for the home/something to pamper herself....'

something like that.

i've been invited to several showers where the bride and groom didn't register and that was how it was handled.

just an idea..
