def. hair first. It's not the end of the world if it's opposite but that's usually they way it is.
When my MOH got married, because of scheduling issues with the makeup artist, she had to do the makeup before the hair. When she showed up at the salon with the makeup done, the hair stylist literally yelled at her LOL

where did you girls hear that...
i thought you do makeup first because if you do your hair first and then makeup if you have a side bang or anything near your face...covering your ears/etc you have to pin your hair back to do your makeup and your hair gets messed up??

i was under the impression it would be makeup first...
this way the mua can pull all of your hair back away from your face to apply evenly and then the hair person can style it properly. If you are having your hair half up or with sweeping bangs across your forehead or something wont they get ruined/out of place by the MUA?

definitely makeup last, hair tends to stay in place with tons of bobby pins and hairspray but makeup will wear off eventually so it should be the very last thing done when getting ready. oh and just something i plan to do that i think is a good idea, im buying whatever lip gloss/lipstick the makeup artist uses during my trial so i can have it to reapply during the day

def hair.... that way the hair stylist can go to work on you, move your hair in front of your face and whatever and not mess up your makeup.
I guess everyone might have a diff prefernece but out all the weddings ive been in, hair has been first.
Makeup will start to wear off or smudge.
