who cares what their website looks like.....the important thing is...do they take great pics???? You can have a crappy webmaster & still be an incredible photographer...i find this an odd question

I am not saying this in a mean context at all...but i beleive many photographers hire outside people to do their websites...so some have great web designers & some don't...but what matters to me is my wedding pics... there's no anger here

I just meant that I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought the question was bizarre ... like you said, what does webdesign have to do with photography talent?

And the OP already has booked a photographer, so it makes me extra curious why she's interested to find out who the B2Bs think has a nicer website?

agree. it's a very odd question. what does it matter what other photographer's sites look like if you've 1) already booked yours, and 2) they are only websites?

1) by nicest website I meant photos ---- OBVIOUSLY a photographer website would be judged by it's photos. Of course an ugly design doesn't help the photos.
2) just because I hired a photographer doesn't mean I can't enjoy looking at photog websites ------ the same way once I decide on flowers doesn't mean I can't continue looking at flowers.
3) gee it's really 'odd' how some people who were married in 2007 and who already have their photos think I'M 'ODD' for wanting to look at photos ???????? this is so high school mean girls
4) Anyone watch the final episode of LOST last night? That's odd. What about UFOs, bigfoot, and Area 51?

Don't be defensive - everyone is entitled to their opinion and some were of the opinion that the website shouldn't matter.

What you meant (but was not clear) was the actual pictures featured on their websites, not the design of the site itself.

Perhaps if you had WORDED your question better, people wouldn't be confused as to what you were talking about. You didn't ask 'Which photographer has the best work/photos?' you asked about their websites......thus making people confused about it since it seems odd to ask a question about their website.

no one was being 'high school mean girls' they are just perplexed by the wording of your question. there's no need to get all snippy so fast in response to others.

since i do design my vote is:

duet or dan - nice clean design, timeless, easy to flip through the pages, etc.

Patken honestly as much as i like them i hate their site - needs to be updated - messy.
