I finally got it narrowed down to 4 out of all the photographers I saw. now I can't decide which one! so give opinions, how they were to you, or what you've heard about them, etc, etc.
it's so hard deciding. I have no idea who to pick. I love them all. how did everyone finally decide on their photographer?

Personally, I think Angelica Glass is the most amazing wedding photographer working in the NY area. She's not doing our wedding--I have three separate groups of friends, all of whom are incredibly talented, doing three different versions of photos. My BiL is doing traditional style digital, my boss (who was a pro photographer before she inherited her dad's company) is doing portraits on film with her incredible large-format camera, and I have two incredibly talented friends doing 'getting ready' and photojournalist-style film photos. If I didn't have such wonderful, talented friends, I would have hired Angelica Glass in a second. I'm still thinking of having her do a 'trash the dress' session after the honeymoon because I love her photos so much!

I absolutely adored their work, plus they did an amazing job on my brother's wedding. I just KNEW they would do an awesome job for mine, too. I chose Perceptions. For me, it was actually an easy choice.

I am using Jovan. Their work is amazing. I have seen a lot of their photos and I loved each of them. They have been great to work with and very accommodating with any requests. And...you get to take an engagement shoot on Jovan's estate which is gorgeous! Good Luck!!

I love her work too. she isn't free on my date otherwise we'd have her :( I'm probably gonna use her for an after wedding/after honeymoon shoot in the city. any chance to use my dress twice is fine with me.

did you get to pick who shoots your wedding? yeah we saw pics of his estate, so beautiful. the guy we met with I loved him, he seemed so cool. I keep telling my fiance if we can have him that definiately makes me want to pick them.

We went to 4 photogrpahers and honestly the way we chose ours was who we felt the most comfortable with. It just so happens they were giving us the best package as well.
I definately think the one you felt the most comfortable with and the most happiest with is the one you should go with.
Ours was the 4th one on our list. We actually were considering cancelling the appt because it was on weekday at 830 and we were so tired from work but i am soooo glad we didnt.

We are using Jovon also.... who did you meet with at Jovon? Jovon did my friends wedding & her pics were amazing!!!! We booked with Dan & David for our wedding...David did our friends wedding and loved how he worked and such. When we met him he was sooo great to work with. When we met David picked our main photographer and him as the 2nd photographer. But if you have recc. on a photographers tell him and he will quote you the price and if they are available.

Glad to hear all the Jovan talk!!! I have Dave as my main photographer and Yuri as my photojournalist. I did pay more for him, but he does that beautiful magazine layout for the album. i looked at his albums and was sold. pictures are important to me and i felt their quality was perfect. and yes, they did discuss a few different photographer choices. I met with jovan and dave first. after they spoke to me and found out 'my style' they made some suggestions. I want candid, elegant shots. I don't really like all the traditional pics like the guys holding the bride up. But, that's just my opinion! If you have any more ?'s let me know!

We are using Sherwood Triart. We felt really comfortable with them. They did my FSIL's weddins 9 years ago and not only did they remember the wedding but more importantly her pictures are absolutely gorgeous. Her albums are great and she said that they are great to work with.

I wish I would have known about angellica glass before i booked my photographer, who is also incredibly talented...i could always do a day after or anniversary shoot with angelica glass...

I went to Sherwood Triart and Creative Compositions. Personally, I think Creative Compositions is the most talented photographer I saw. I didn't pick them b/c the package I wanted was waaay too expensive. Sherwood Triart was in my top 3 as well. I went with Imagine Studios b/c I liked the more personalized service and I love Lia.

We met with ******** Studios today and loved them. Talked with Patty -she was so wonderful. I wish we could book with them but we cannot afford it. (Or any other very popular photography.) I reccomend ********!

You have to go with the one you feel most comfortable with. As soon as we walked into F ine Art I knew it was the one. I went to see 5 photographers before them. When I saw their studio and pictures I booked that night! You have to go with your gut

we used jovon. too bad they lost all the pics of my husband's family and don't think it's a big deal. i like the photos i received, but that doesn't make up for the missing ones. i'd go w/ creative compositions.

I went to see both Jovon and CC .. I honestly loved CC portfolio but the personalities are better at Jovon and I think their pictures will be great..go with whoever you feel most comfortbale with!
