I honestly just heard about Glen Island last week. It looks gorgeous, I'd have to say Glen Island just from the pictures I've seen. Where exactly is it?

plus like ive said before, i hear their food is amazing...I know someone who got married there and when she was searching for an RH she went to another place before glen island and she told them oh ok well were still looking at other places and i will get back to you, the people asked do you mind if we ask which place you are seeing next, well the girl told them glen island and they said oh forget it you're not coming back...She asked why they said that and they said their food is fantastic. So when another Rh says it you know its good lol

Yeah, I know a few people that got married there and RAVEDDDDDDDDD about it. can't go wrong.
Maybe you're just second guessing yourself because you just made a big decision? Sometimes after I make a big decision my immediate reaction is 'Oh crapola - did I do the right thing???'

ok maybe we will work it through that we can afford this wedding! the only thing i dont like we have to use their house vendor for flowers which can be $$$

yeah it is very normal, i did the same thing too. Infact glen island was supposed to be the next place we were going to see, it was the first place i tried booking an appointment but i was only able to do saturday and they had a wedding and couldn't show the place. So i was thinking hmmm maybe we should've looked at every place we wanted to see before making a decision, i did this to myself for a week.
I am happy with my decision now and everything happens for a reason

I've never been to either. The first one seems more traditional elegant and the second beachy elegant. Both look beautiful on the outside. I'd have to see more pics of the inside and grounds. Also what do you think of the taste?

We saw Crescent and considered it, but there were more cons than pros, for us. pros: Liked the main room and the deck. loved the menu. cons: cocktail hour room was dreary (if there was bad weather and we couldn't use the deck) location- It's such a pain to get to!!!

my fiance is from new rochelle and we've been to glen island a bunch of times. it is really beautiful there and the food is very good.

They are both beautiful, on the water. I called the Glenn Island club when I was looking around for halls, but we wanted something a little closer
