Ok we're looking to book Danford's for our wedding night. Do we book the village view for $269 or the LI Sound view for $319. We are probably not goin to get their until 1AM and just plan on eating breakfast in the morning then heading to the airport. I can't see spending an extra $50 to see water out the window when we'll be in mexico on the water for a week on our honeymoon. But then the other part of me thinks it would be nice to have a nice view on our wedding night. Opinions? Thanks!

we jus tbooked danfords and we booked a village room for hte exact same reason...its not worth it to me to spend money on a view i won't be able to enjoy!

I would go for the village view...you won't be there very long anyway!!!! Save the $50 for the honeymoon!

I agree! FH and I went to Danford's as an engagement gift and got a village room. Still very nice. Save the money for your HM!!!

i would save the 50 and go with the villiage view use the extra 50 in mexico

I would probably do the village view if you're leaving in the morning. If you were staying another night, then I'd say spring the extra 50.

Tough call....
Part of me says, you're spending all of this money anyway, whats another $50?!?! It may be nice to wake up and look at the water...but then again you're going to be thinking of more exciting things (your new hubbie, honeymoon, what a fantastic time you had at your wedding...) you may not be as concerned with the view.
I would check out a site like tripadvisor.com or even yahoo travel and see if others have rated the hotel and both rooms. That may offer some guidance.

oh, def village view! save that $50 for a honeymoon splurge and pat yourself on the back for making a good decision while you enjoy it.

I agree with everyone else. Save $50 and do the Village view. I booked a king room at the Inn at Great Neck..I could have got a Jacuzzi king but I know we'll probably be so tired we won't even use it.
