Which side of the room???

Hello Ladies,

I just finished the seating arrangements for my Saturday wedding. My mom now informs me that the bride's side of the family must sit on the right side of the room. I have my family on the left. I didn't know there were such rules.

I am going crazy - Is my mom right????

I would look at it depending on how many guests you have on each side - see I have been to wedding where there were about 5 tables on one side and then the other side was all crunched in with about 8 or 9 tables and that was uncomfortable and silly looking - I would make sure you even it out - but most weddings I have been to only the close family is on each side then friends and co workers etc are spread around
