Ok So I am very limited on vac time, my wedding is Nov 24 and my sis is tring to org my batchelorette weekend. We have narrowed the choices.
A 3 night cruise from Miami to Bahamas Fri OCT 6 to Mon Oct 9
OR
I really would like to do Vegas because I've never been there and I don't think I would get the same experience going w/ FH. but it would have to be. Thurs NOV 16 to Mon NOV 20
But is that too close to my wedding?.................. My Rehersal dinner is Nov 22.
I'll be tan and that will be good, and maybe lose a few from liquid diet & dancing?
What do you think?

Im going to be different....I saw the cruise to the Bahamas. Thats just my opinion...Im more of a caribbean person

I chose Vegas based on the time of year you are planning on going, October is Hurricane Season still.

I say Vegas. Where are you going on your honeymoon? If your going to an island defintiley don't go to one for your BP. Vegas is so much fun, especially since you have never been there before.

We are doing a 15 day cruise to Hawaii, but not until next March 07.

Im not sure...
BUT vegas definitely wont be 'tan' kinda weather. I was there last November and while we could wear shorts on SOME days it was too chilly to be lying out in a bathing suit.

I vote for Vegas because there is more to do there then the Bahamas, just dont expect to get a tan there. It could be chilly in November.

Because of the time frame, I picked the cruise. I would prefer Vegas myself but coming back only 4 days before your wedding may not be the 'wisest' choice.
1/ you have no time for last minute 'wedding duties'. 2/ You won't be rested before your wedding. (lots of partying in Vegas... :)
If you really want the Vegas trip, can you do it 2 weeks before the wedding?

Hummmm.. I've been to Vegas 4 times twice without FH and twice with him LOL I WOULD SAY VEGAS BABY ALL THE WAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY GIRL FRIENDS & I HAD A BLAST BUT .....You will be very very very tired when you get back You might not want to do that to yourself right before your wedding...

Personally, I would prefer the Bahamas. I'm headed to Vegas in August (my 8th trip) and I've had fun on exactly ONE of those previous trips.

I think that I'm leaning toward Vegas, you all brought up some good points, like the weather.....even if it is rainy in Vegas, there is still so much to do. I've been to the bahama's and I love cruises.....but I just don't think that after I'm married I would be able to go to Vegas with the girls guilt free. Cruise would be less of a problem later. As far as being rested... what if we come back on Sunday night take off from work that whole week & Wedding is on Friday

I would say Vegas because that's much more BP style, but I agree with the other women- it's way too close to your wedding. Even with a week off, there may be last minute things going on that come up unexpectedly. However, if you plan right, and everything's done that needs to be done, no reason to not recoup after a week's rest. And yeah- November can be chilly in Vegas. You can probably lay out for a few hours around noon, and hang in the jacuzzi, but that's about it. I love the idea of the cruise though!! Either way- sounds like whoever's going to your BP is going to have a great time!!

Better chance of catching some rays and avoiding the evil 'Vegas lag.'
Vegas is the kind of place where every day you sleep a little later. . . stay up a little later. . . and suddenly. . . Shazam! You're living on Vegas time.
To get back only a couple of days before might be cutting it too close.
Especially if have a crazy bachelorette dancing, drinking, gambling old time for yourselves
