Hardcover Mysteries for me. I cannot stand the pages on a paperback book and the awkwardness of trying to read the left page of the book without folding it so much that you crease the spine. Scott

Those paperbacks always get beaten up so easy. I prefer hardcover

i like hardcovers to keep them, but its easier to read paperbacks ...and cheaper

It depends. I love hardcover but I feel guilty spending the money (unless it's one of my faves and something I HAVE to have immediately. Like all the Harry Potter books- I won't wait for PB). I do, however, often find good hardcovers on clearance for the same prices as a MM paperback.
I don't care for paperbacks but I will get them if I really want to read the book.
