Which Venue do you like better chateau briand or fox hollow

I cant decide between chateau briand and fox hollow. I love the outside miami feeling at cb and planning on getting married in june and would have cocktail out there but if rains then have the europa room, and for the reception have the normandy or saturina room. But not thrilled with all mirros bc i want uplightig so i have to get white drapes, and not sure how much that going cost.. both menus are great, havnet tasted the food yet but been in businees for iover 30 yrs. Fox hollow great for pictures the hotel is right there and nice would have ch in coloinal bria fox which i correct my self because i did not want to offend anyone but a little dark for the color theme i going with. then dinner in winter pavillion which is gorgeous.

Please help me decide.. thanks girls congrats to all and best wishes

I dont think she meant anything by it...she was just stating what she saw when she went there. She must like it some what if shes even considering it as a venue....

ita also it seems that u like the feel of chateau briand more so i say cb

Both places are owned by the same company. The food at both is very good, so it comes down to decor taste. I like a more rustic and cozy feel, that is why I went with the fox. I feel like CB is much more of modern decore which some people might not like. Honestly the only word I could use to describe it was puffy. I felt like everything there was puffy.

I am sure I have said this many times before but chateau briand is pretty but the customer service was horrible. From the front desk to the BM the all ****** major balls in my opinion. Basically every question I asked was come in and book and we can discuss it. Every question was met with when would you like to leave a deposit. I am not leaving a deposit anywhere just to ask questions but this was just my experience.

I visited both RHs and both were really nice but had totally different feels. my FH loved the CH room for CB and so did I but I didn't LOVE the rooms like I did in Fox Hollow. I don't think that the room in Fox Hollow at all, you have to envision it with your flowers, tables done, etc.

Also I don't think the op meant to offend anyone, she just needs to be more conscious of the way she states things!

Personally, I'd go with Fox Hollow. The outside of Cb is beautiful but like you said, if you rain it really doesn't matter how beautiful it is. Like everyone previously said, it depends on your personal taste.
Chateau Briand will probably not drape the mirrors w/o an extra fee. Even if they do I think it would look a little awkward having white on some parts of the wall and not others. Regardless of uplighting you'll still be able to tell the difference.

I'm too not a fan of the mirrors on the walls which alone would deter me from booking there.

Just a matter of personal taste.

I called and emailed a few times to make an appointment to go see the Chateau and no one answered the phone every time I called. I finally got a response to my email 3 months later and we were already booked at Fox Hollow. Funny how things work out!

Similar story, My MOH and I both called them everyday and left messages foe 3 weeks and no one contacted me si I decided on WM but when we were on our way to put down a deposit FH who lives in FL wanted to take a look at CB and I wanted to complain about them not responding to me and we fell in love with it...lol....I hate that they are very bad with returning calls but the hall is wonderful. I'm happy that we booked with them.

I had my wedding at CB and absolutely loved it!!!!! I happen to love the Europa room for CH and if use the Normandy room they have their own built in uplighting for you to use.

My sister's wedding was at Fox Hollow and it was beautiful. The food was great also.

I looked at both, and went with the Fox Hollow. While Chateau Briand was lovely, it was not our style. We preferred the old world elegance over the art deco style.

Chateau Briand has a hotel next to it, not the hotel affiliated with the Scotto Brothers, but there is a holiday inn right next door.

yes i didnt mean to offend anyone by saying outdated i used wrong word, of coarse i love fox hollow i having hard time choosing between cb and fh. I should have said a little dark with the wood and color theme of linens it wouldnt mix, i asked if i could do cocktail outside but have to guarennte a higher minum and i have alot of out tonw/country guest. Once again i lov fox hollow and sorry if you took offense to the word i used to describe that room

thanks didnt mean to offend colonial briar fox i should have said dark wood, and yes if i choose to have it there woul dbc ch bria fox followed by winter pavillion room with stone and glass ceiling fire place. That room only hold up to 150,.

Congrats on choosing Chateau Briand! I have been there for a few corporate events, as well as the recent showcase, and it is a lovely place.

yes ur right they only allow ch outdoor bc noise ord. i wanted that idea too lol, the rivereia is gorgeous im going with my friend monday to show her she looking to get married in sept, and someone i know just got married there and said it wass great, if you have any questions i can always ask her for you

I've been to both places and think that you cannot go wrong with either place. The food was great at both CB and Fox Hollow. The decor is different in both places, but it really depends on what style you are going for. Do you have a theme or color scheme? Maybe that will help make your decision easier.

When I went to Fox Hollow, I'm not sure what the room on the first floor was called, but it was STUNNING. Definitely one of the most prettiest rooms I've seen.
