Which wedding date would you choose?

So my fiancé and I finally picked George weir barn for our venue and we have to go this Sunday to book our date. We are having such a hard time between these dates basically it's between the question of do we want to gamble with hot weather or do we want to gamble with cold weather. Keep in mind our venue isn't air conditioned or heated and we will have the ceremony outdoors. We need ideal weather :(

There is more you can do about cold weather if you pick oct 4th (shalls, jackets etc) BUT I would warn the guests before hand so they are prepared... maybe it could be mentioned in the invitation that it is an outdoor wedding, so dress appropriately? Just an idea....

Definitely October 4th. This year I went to two weddings in July and both were just so hot and humid. It was not a comfortable experience. It's much easier to make a place warmer (i.e. heaters, fire pits) than to make it cooler.

Definitely October! It's only Oct 8th now, so it's going to be weather like this, give or take. You're pretty much guaranteed hot in July, and I agree with the above, it's easier to warm up than cool down outdoors.

October without a doubt! You will definitely be getting hot (and humid) in July and early October is typically nice. Just make sure to keep in mind that the sun sets A LOT earlier in the day in October.

October is probably better weather than July if there's no AC or heat. July can be miserably hot and humid.

I picked October and I'm getting married in July.

You'll have a much better chance of comfortable weather in the fall than in July!

I personally wouldn't gamble with being hot especially when you're paying that much money to be photographed! lol You could do something cute like put out baskets with blankets in case it's cold.

October! Love fall as a season and definitely easier to handle than the July heat in your case.
