Both are GREAT! Te books, esp the second one are creepy as heck. I am So looking forward to the new Charlie and Chocolate Factory Movie!
Also, if you want to see Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, it's been on HBO quite a biut and it's on HBO On demand.

This movie is one of my favorites of all time. I think I have watched it thousands of times.
I just don't know about anyone playing Mr. Wonka other than Gene Wilder..he was just awesome in that role. Very sarcastic but not evil, kind of like how Johnny Depp looks in previews.
To answer the question...I'd pick...hmmmmm I guess Charlie. I was sensitive too as a kid, lol. But thank god all my grandparents didn't sleep in the same bed for 20 years. Can you imagine?? LOL!!

Me too, I'm the girl version of Charlie. I love that movie and the book. I just hope the new movie by Tim Burton is good. I hate when they remake already great movies and they come out horrible.
