Would you rather stay in a room with a fireplace or with french doors that open onto a balcony on a lake?
For our hm we had the fireplace but no balcony..we booked cove haven for a 4 day weekend for our one year anniversary but the room we booked doesnt have a fireplace..but it does have the balcony. Anthony says he doesnt mind..we should have something different anyway but I loved the fireplace..
Also, the fireplace room is 150 more...i think its insane..
What do you think?

im more of an outdoorsy person. Id prefer the balcony. and sit outside on a cool night...

I'd prefer the balcony. Sit outside on a nice cool night, wake up early and watch the sun rise.

For $150 more - i think I would be able to live with the balcony. I like both a fireplace and balconies. They have their own special aspects. Try somethign different. Enjoy !!

At Paradise Stream (also a Ceasars Resort) the lakeside rooms also have fireplaces! I LOVE both!!!

Balcony. I like the look of a fireplace, but I hate the intense heat they give off, and I'd find lots of things to do with that extra $150!

I would choose the balcony. Since I've lived in an apartment for 10 years, I really miss the easy access to the outdoors and would jump at the chance to have doors that open to a balcony. You should try something different, like your DH says.

For me, it would completely depend upon the time of year...
Summertime = balcony on the lake Wintertime = fireplace

I'm more of a balcony girl, but it's all up to you. Oh, and if it's freezing the balcony wouldn't do me much good, so the weather would play a part.

I would prefer the balcony with french doors. But it also depends on the view I will hve off the balcony.

Balcony. I love fireplaces, but waking up to the view of the lake will be so nice. Plus, sometimes it's a pain in the @ss to keep the fireplace going.

I agree with Claud...it depends on the time of the year. I LOVE fireplaces and want one in my home. But I also love a good view!

I also agree that it depends on the season. If it's Fall/Winter, I want a fireplace. If it's Spring/Summer, balcony and lake view.
But honestly, for the extra 150, the fireplace isn't worth it!

I'd go with the balcony and the view. Since we have lived in the city for so long with a view of the garden apartments across the street it would be nice to be able to step outside and look out at the lake. Have a great time!!!
