Yup, it's very easy. I like to grind my own because I like buying interesting coffees at gourmet shops and things like that. I also set it to have my coffee ready for me in the morning when I get out of the shower. Interestingly enough, my mother got the other one as a gift but doesn't have a use for it so she gave it me. And although I love cappuccino and FH loves espresso, I still haven't take it out of the box yet. It's just not practical enough for me to have it out taking up space on the counter. So, it's sitting in the closet.

I think you might be right - I LOVEEEEEE espresso....but I don't think I use I'll use it enough...

The espresso/coffee maker because FH's dad and sisters love espresso so it would be great to use when they come over.

One more thing, the coffee stays hot alot longer in the cuisinart grinder/maker. They all say they stay warm, but this is the first one I've used where it really stays hot for awhile. Hope that helps!

if you drink espresso drinks, the first one would be great b/c you get the best of both worlds. even if you don't... an espresso machine is great for entertaining guests.
