Did you cry, scream, jump up and down? Tell us!!! How many Dresses did you try on before finding it?
I had gone to about 3 diff bridal shops (not in the same day) and tried on about 15-17 dresses total.. Then I found my dress! At first I saw it on the hanger and was unsure about it but I kept an open mind and tried it on since they say to try on everything lol... In the dressing room (no mirrors) I was like wow this is sparkly and then we went out I got on the platform in front of the mirror and she let the dress go and layed down the train... I knew immediatley! My face lit up I had butterflies and when I got to see the train it was a done deal! It def helped that My Mom & Gawf were crying and saying thats the one!

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
From the moment I saw the dress online I knew that was the one for me.
I made the job very easy for the attendant at Pronovias because I brough the picture of the dress. Either way she made me try another 4 dress...it came down to the same dress on the picture.
I was totally surprised that neither my mom and I cried.

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
I actually found my dress on my first trip out shopping, which was totally unexpected. I tried on about 9 or 10 dresses in total... the dress I ended up choosing was number 4 or 5 i think.
I just knew it was the one the second I put it on. It fit my body like a glove and I felt so beautiful in it. I walked out of the dressing room and my mom said I was glowing. My MOH started tearing up too(she never cries!).

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
I guess I just knew. I had tried on the dress in 3 other bridal stores and loved it, but thought it was too soon to commit. When I went to Helen's I pulled a bunch of dresses, tried them on, and nothing. Then the lady helping me brought in a dress and said 'I really think you should try this one on'. I slipped it and looked in the mirror -- it was the same dress I had been trying on all along!! I didnt even see it on the rack, but when the lady brought it in, it seemed like fate. No sobbing crying, but definitely goosebumps, and some watery eyes!

It was the first one I ever tried on - I put it on, I felt beyond amazing in it, as if I was a true princess, and I couldn't stop laughing/smiling/and crying all at the same time. I then ended up yelling 'Im saying yes to the dress!!!!!' like 10 times over, at which my sister said 'You're in the wrong store'

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
I was on a hunt for a mermaid dress and fell in love with every single dress. Put the deposit down and made another appointment to get fitted. When I went back, I tried on the dress again and wasn't completely happy with my decision. I proceeded to try more dresses but for some reason I didn't love any of them. I was getting ready to leave the store and try again another day but then my sister pulled out the dress and I said, 'it's not what I wanted but I can try it on'. So I did. I cried the moment I saw that dress on me. I knew it was the one.

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
so many people ask me if I cried...I say no!!
If you know me, you know I try on a million outfits and am never completely satisfied haha i usually wind up wearing the first thing I tried on.
Seriously though, it was between 2 and when I thought about how I would look coming out of the rolls royce and stepping into the churhc and then the hall it all clicked.

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
I really only tried on my dress b/c it was the one my mom liked, but as soon as the lady zipped me up and I stepped out I was in love. I literally could not stop smiling, my mom and sister were crying and the consulting kept saying it was perfect. I think I definitely got 'that' feeling b/c it was like everything paused and then of course I started freaking out b/c everything became real.
Oh and I found my dress the very first day I went looking in the second store I went to.

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
Well I went to 3 different places in one day and probably only tried on like 10 dresses total. I originally found it in the first one but was still going to the other ones bc of appts. So after I was at the third place I knew that I had to go back or I never would (I got it in Albany) so we went back and as son as I put it back on I was non stop smiling the whole time I had it on I never wanted to take it off and that's how u knew! Funny thing is I didn't even pick it out my attendant did with my ideas of what I was looking for!

Re: While Im on the topic of dresses...
It was my second time dress shopping and probrably the 7th or 8th dress that I tried on.
When we walked into the bridal dress area, my mom and I both saw the dress hanging in the back and thought it was absolutely stunning, but didn't say anything to each other. My mom went straight to it, and I started in the front of the store, planning on making my way to it when I got to the back.
When I tried it on, I just got an indescribible feeling. It was the most beautiful piece of clothing I've ever worn. After taking it off, I tried on about 4 more dresses just to make sure, and although they were beautiful, I didn't get that same feeling.
