I got proofed about 10 months ago. I was 32 at the time....
I looked at the bouncer like.. 'What are you thinking? I'm older than you are!'

Actually alot if the bars have those driver license machines. I sometimes get proofed for buying cigarettes!

Me too. A co-worker just told me was so young to get married, when I told her my age, she said no way!

last month at TGI Fridays.... my reply was, 'Are you even old enough to ask me?' I still ate it up though....approaching that 3-0 mark is really taking its toll.

same here, about a month ago! it's even wierder when i'm the proofer. when someone orders a beer, we have to proof if they look under 30, well, some of the people look older than me, but aren't, so it is awkward, but i could get fired if i serve a minor.

I get proofed ALL THE TIME! I mean ALL THE TIME. I'm 25, but I guess I look younger, which is ironic since when I was 14, I looked about 20. SO go figure

31 and get proofed everywhere - hate it...and most of the time the people are younger than me and when they see my age - they often apologize or just say wow! lol I hate looking young....

I got proofed at the movies by a 16 year old. DH was waiting outside and i ran in to get the tickets....I didnt have my bag. I had to go out to get my wallet so I could show I was 28 years old getting proofed for a rated R movie.
I am often told I could pass for 18-20....I can't figure it out...what can I do to look my age????

i got proofed for a scratch off once when i was with tom......but when he bought his, they didn't ask him - and he's 4 years younger than i am!!!!
we also go to a liquor store right near where we live, and everytime we go in, the guy asks me if i'm 21....and every time, i tell him i'm 28 and he looks at me in disbelief

I get proofed EVERYWHERE! I am 29 and almost everyone who has ever guessed at my age says 22-23 max...I look very young, and I know it so I dont mind, but sometimes it's annoying when they scrutinize the freaking ID...yes it's me and yes I'm 29!
