i don't get to have a white dress for my wedding but i think FH is planning a private beach wedding during our honeymoon in costa rica (i've always wanted to have a little 'pretend' wedding for just the 2 of us after the big one). i like watters and watters dresses but i don't want to go through the whole hassle of ordering one. i don't want anything w/ a train or ruffles or frills. any ideas of where to go?

David's Bridal has a whole line of destination styles so does a designer that Macy's in Manhasset has called 'destinations' I know the Macy's doesn't help because it's not off the rack - but there might be a place that sells whatever designer it is off the rack

I know that Bloomingdales sells nice dresses off the rack. I read in wedding magazines that you can save money on a wedding dress by buying a BM dress from a department store like Bloomingdales and Saks. But, I don't know if they sell Watters and Watters.

i don't think they would have watters and watters dresses on the rack but i like that simple style their dresses have

jessica mcclintock has some gorgeous very simple white & ivory gowns that would be perfect for a beach wedding. i'm not sure if you can buy them off the rack like their other dresses.

have destination dresses. I think Jessica McClintock does dresses that are not too extravagant and are off the rack.

if you dont want a bridal gown i would suggest 'totally you' in wantaugh on merrick rd. i just found this boutique and fell in love with all their dresses. they are so nice too

Lori : there is a line call 'destinations' I think by demetrios but don't hold me to that. They are not the huge big poofy dresses - they are more like if you are having your wedding on a beach or an unconventional wedding. I think
