FH and I need to add more stuff to our registries, and decided we should register for some everyday china. Right now we have a small mish mosh of 2 sets of plates (I had blues and greens from target and he has black/red plates from... somewhere?)
I love the look of white modern place settings, like you see at a lot of trendy restaurants. Not sure if I prefer round or square. We are registered at Crate & Barrel, Macy's and BBB (also at fortunoff but inconvenient for OOT guests and for us, so we took everything off that registry).
Crate & Barrel has a million different versions but I don't know the difference between ceramic, etc and the other materials. Also, some seem kind of expensive. I didn't realize there were so many different versions. Anyone have this type of 'china' ? What is reasonable for everyday china. I'd want these to be our normal plates....
please help!
edit: it needs to be able to go in the dishwasher!
edit edit: we registered for 2 of these platters: http://www.crateandbarrel.com/family.aspx?c=255&f=23165
