I'm sorry but it drives me crazy when people say you 'have' to do anything. You don't have to do anything you don't want to. If you want to do silver or any other color shoe, go for it!!!! There are quite a few girls on this site who are wearing colored shoes, animal prints, polka dots. I think it's great!!

i wore white shoes ... you can really wear any color though!
some people like to make their shoes very unique! i've seen girls from here wear leopard shoes, or even pink converse sneakers! it's a great way to add a little bit of your own style into more traditional wedding attire.

I wore white shoes because I found comfortable ones that I liked. If I didn't find white shoes I probably would have gone with silver shoes I already own. I changed into silver flip flops for dancing after the cocktail hour anyway.
Wear whatever you like!!! Nobody sees your shoes under your dress anyway.

I'm going to wear white to match my dress..but I'm thinking of maybe buying a cute colorful pair for my reception just to add some fun..and comfort! hehe

I wore sparkley silver open-toed ballet flats. They were the cutest shoes EVER and I LOVE them! As soon as I saw them I knew they were it. I think I may love the shoes more then my dress...

Really you could wear whatever shoes you want - 'Kittythestray' wore leopard print shoes with her dress - it looked so SICK! It really gave it something different! Loved it! Here's her pic (sorry kittythestray, i totally jacked your pic)
