Will be taking Dance lessons together? I am trying to convince FH to take a class with me, how can I persuade him??

There's a club at my school that teaches a new dance every Wednesday night, so FH and I will be trying that out for a bit and then seeing if we need lessons after that. So far, he has two left feet and no rhythm so we might be leading the lessons

I went to my boss' daughter's wedding a few weeks ago. And they had a little dance planned out. Nothing crazy, but they had a little spin in there.... I thought it was the cutest thing.

We mutually decided that it's definitely something we want to do but we need to find a place in queens/nassau that is reasonably priced.

Any suggestions?

FW and I have been trying to figure out a reliable time we could both do it, and the coming nuptuals have gotten us to focus and do it. We're both pretty psyched, actually.

Hmm, how to convince him. Well, as a guy, I can tell you it's always fun to know how to dance and a great way not only to spend time with your partner, but also to build the activities you want to try to do with your partner together. For example, FW does not know how to play poker; my poker games are not your typical men's only game with cigars and whatnot (i don't discriminate when taking people's money), and I always think it would be fun for her to be there too. So, I could say, hon, I'll try this, but I'd like you to give this other thing a chance with me, too.

Now, this might mean you might have to try something you're not too kean on either, but maybe you both end up doing something you like that you never tried before.

I want my FH to take them with me. We haven't discussed it yet since he's been studying for his PT certification, but I will be bringing this up. I think he'll take a couple of lessons.

I know October Bliss took dancing lessons and choregraphed their first dance and it looked remarkable and they were having so much fun and smiling throughout the entire dance!!!!!

We definitely are! FH can dance cause I've seen him shakin' his little booty around the house, but he chooses not to and he stiffens up in front of people. Gotta bring him out of his shell!

This is so funny....I mentioned this to FH like 2 months ago and his response to me was and I quote 'why, which one of your friends did this'?
He thinks that all my ideas for our wedding are from friends and LIW (most of them are) and that none of my ideas are original....But little does he know, alot of couples take dance lessons so they look amazing on the dance floor together.....it's going to take a bit of persuading him but I think he'll do it....=)

we've been taking them with Starr Dance Studio--private lessons. it gets pricey--but it's really fun!

Fh and i really like it--you really have to work together and let them lead, and you follow! it's a great bonding experience too

My FH is a football loving, dance hating, stay at home and watch sports all day kind of guy and he has agreed to do it for me b/c he wants to shock everyone that he can look good dancing so we are going to take lessons for our first dance....tell him that it would be so meaningful for you and that it will blow everyone out of the water!! HTH
