who are you using for hair and makeup?

Any recos on people that will travel to the city and are not expensive?
I'm really in love with Maureen Pedala for makeup, I will probably splurge but what about hair?
I'm thinking I can spend less than 350 on both.

Her sister Claudia does hair. You may want to ask if she's available for your date as well (and she's in the city...)

I think Maureen charges $250 for makeup, right?

if that's the case and you want to spend $350 total, you may have to go to a salon to get your hair done for $100 or less. maybe you can have the person who normally does your hair do it?

I HIGHLY recommend Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. Not only is she a brilliant makeup artist, but she is a sweetheart! she's a LIW vendor.

I'm using Maureen (definitely worth the splurge IMO) and Claudia for hair. Claudia is actually more expensive than Maureen! I'm pretty sure it's $325 for the bride if you don't go to their studio in NYC. But she travels pretty much anywhere which is great (a lot of the LI vendors wouldn't come to Westchester for me).

ETA: I had a trial with Sarah Rock and she was really nice and my hair came out great. I would've booked her, but I really liked the idea that Maureen and Claudia work together all the time.
