Hello! I'm going to Christopher Street salon in Dix Hills for my hair. I'm using Macy's clinique for my makeup. I went for my hair in May (5 months before) and just 2 weeks ago for my makeup. You can go anytime for a trial. The people I went to were more than happy to help me. I can't schedule my hair appointment for date of the wedding until July because it's still a lil early.

I am using Denise from Angel Eyes for my makeup. I went for my trail in July 2003 and booked her on the spot. For hair, I am using my mom's friend. I never had an offical trail, we just discussed what I wanted and she played with my trail once.

I used Jackie from I Make Up You.

She is fantastic!!!

I went on I believe 3-4 different trials with different make up artists, Jackie happened to be my first and I loved her the best.

I went I believe a month before or maybe 2 months before.

Try to go as soon as you can because they book up fast and you don't want to miss out on a great make up artist.

I'm also using Jackie from I Make Up You. I went 7 months before because she wouldn't hold the date until I went for my trial. Didn't matter -- I loved her. I am also using her recommendation for hair named Carmella. I had my trial with her the same day.

I used Jillian from Gorgeous Faces. I had my trial early, about 8 months before my wedding. But that was b/c I wanted to be able to try out different people before I booked one without being rushed.

I contact JN and Denise Venti in late October 03 for my May 04 wedding.

My hair trial was in January and I think my first make-up trial may have been around the same time but I don't remember. I had a second make-up trial the Wednesday before the wedding because I was tanning.

we are using 2 hair / makeup ladies - mya from cosmetic artistry and another lady went for trials in january and february for october -

I am going to Bobbi Har Design in Commack...I am going for a trial 2 months before and then maybe one more time a little closer to the wedding.
