Today my mother and I went to Kleinfelds for the first time to look at wedding dresses....I wasn't thrilled over any of the dresses. Can you tell me what designer you used for your gown, good things/bad things, website, price range... etc
It would be a huge help! Thanks! :)

Re: 'Who are you wearing?'
I answered you already through FM, but Maggie Sottero (and Sottero and Midgley) have some reasonably priced dresses. I paid 1200 total (with tax and everything) for my dress. I guess it all depends on what style you like...Maggie has a lot of ballgowns...not many mermaid or form fitting dresses.

Mine was a Maggie also, on the higher price end of Maggies at $1250 (but I got it for $1150)....Maggie does have some slim-a-lines (that's what mine was but I loved many of them!!

My gown is an Alvina Valenta. Check out the website! The prices really range based on the type of dress, intricacy of the beading, lace detail, etc.

Re: 'Who are you wearing?'
I tried on everything as well. It is best ti go to a place that has a lot of gowns in your price range. After trying on many gowns I knew what things I didn't like and what looked good on me. I found that having the willingness to try anything really helped. once i had my dress on, I just knew- to me it felt like the combo of things i had liked in other dresses. GL!! :) I got my at Dimetrois (sp?) in Macy's at smithhaven. the people at bayshore were really nice too! beautiful gowns there.

Ilissa by Demetrios I did all my gown shopping on-line, & saw this one...I called stores to see if they had a sample to try on. When I found a store, I went there & bought it! It was the only gown I ever tried on! LOVE IT!!! PS $3k
