That's what I am going to do this week. They know I've been calling all day so they will def be suspicious if I call today for the same night.

hmm pretty sure $149? or $169? I have to look at my contract... Holiday Inn Express and the new Hilton Garden Inn were definitely more

I think the price really depends on the time of year too. Best bet would be to go on their website and try to book directly through there with a AAA number.
I wasn't able to get rooms at the best western for my wedding (9/20/08). . .they were already sold out back in March 08 when I tried to block.
But I did block at the Holiday Inn Express and they tried to give me $219/night for september 20 (which, as per them is still 'Peak Season'). I told them that I absolutely would not book any blocks for my guest with a '2' as the first number in the price. So they dropped it to $199. When I go to their website the cheapest price I can find for the night of my wedding is $246. So I guess the $199 is really a 'discount'. . . but still a rip-off, none the less!!
