Did anyone go with you the first time you looked at venues? My mom is like a world class negotiator and since my parents will be paying for the wedding anyway, I want her with us when we are making up contracts, etc. because she is the best at getting things thrown in for free. She asked if we wanted her with us during the first round of looking though and I'm not sure. What did you do?
FH and I went to like 3... My dad and I went to like 12 lol. When we were serious about the last 3, it was my parents and FH.
FH and I went to 19 because we weren't sure if we wanted to get married in NYC or Long Island. Then narrowed it down to 3 on Long Island and I went back with my mom and sister. We will go to all next week again and finally book!
I went with FH and my parents even though they aren't paying for the wedding I just wanted them to help with the process plus it helped since my mom took pictures of each place while we did the talking so later that night I could see them all while writing down pros and cons to each place
FH actually went to a few venues alone, others we went together.
FH and I took my mom and my mom in law ... We wanted them to be a part of the experience !
