Take a break from your wedding planning..and see if you can figure this one out

3 MEN GO INTO A MOTEL. THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK SAID THE ROOM IS $30, SO EACH MAN PAID $10 AND WENT TO THE ROOM.

A WHILE LATER THE MAN BEHIND THE DESK
REALIZED THE ROOM WAS ONLY $25, SO HE SENT THE BELLBOY TO HE 3 GUYS ROOM WITH $5.

ON THE WAY THE BELLBOY COULDN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPLIT $5 EVENLY BETWEEN 3 MEN, SO HE GAVE EACH MAN A $1 AND KEPT THE OTHER $2 FOR HIMSELF. THIS MEANT THAT THE 3 MEN EACH PAID $9 FOR THE ROOM, WHICH IS A TOTAL OF $27, ADD THE $2 THAT THE BELLBOY KEPT = $29.

WHERE IS THE OTHER DOLLAR?

Ok...girls...I came back to my computer just to tell you. I couldn't leave it like that for an hour or 2. What if I get home late...it is friday?

OK here are my answers....

The first one: Charcoal for BBQ, because when you use it it is red then after its done its grey.

The second one: The original word is 'Snowing'. It decomposes to:sowing, swing, sing, sin, in, and I.

Latina, that was good, I was thinking something like even, dessert...and some other lame answer, but then it came back to it has to have 7 letters.

Here is another: What one word in the English laguge that has 7 letters, you can type on the keyboard with using only one side of the keyboard?
