I am going dress shopping tomorrow for the first time!!!!!! I am looking at my dress and the BM's dresses. Can you please tell me who is supposed to come with you? I know my mother and i want my sister as well. But do you have to ask FMIL too? I do not want to hurt her feelings but i also want this special time with my mother also.

Just my two sisters (my MOH's) & my Mother i took with me. It was a personal & very emotional experience for all of us. Then my Dad met us at the dress shop i decided to purchase my dress from. Afterward Daddy took all of us out for lunch. Awwwww

I went with my mom. I would have had my sis come too, but she couldn't make it. I do not think you need to ask FMIL to come. I just called her after I bought my dress and sent her pics. She was happy with that!!

My mom asked my FMIL to come with us, she doesnt have any daughters so my mom thought it would be a nice gesture.

WHEN I WENT I BROUGHT MY MOM & SIS ALSO. I FELT BAD NOT INVITING MY FMIL, & FSIL BUT I WANTED TO KEEP IT CALM. I DIDNT WANT THEM ALL YELLING OPINIONS AT ME. LOL.
