Re: who cuts down there Xmas tree

I go with my family every year and we do it in PA (where I am from) I have never cut down a tree around here yet. It's a great tradition I look forward to every year with our family. We bring the dogs get bundled up and have a contest of who picks the tree each year...it's great.

I was thinking of doing that this year but when the time came I went to home depot and for a tree haha.

It sounds fun though!

Re: who cuts down there Xmas tree

I've never cut one down. We've always had a fake one because my mom hates cleaning up the pine needles. Now I just have a fake one too becuase its so much easier.

We used to do this when I was little, but haven't since I was like 15. I miss it so much. We used to go with my grandparents and all my aunts and uncles on my moms side. It was so much fun.

Re: who cuts down there Xmas tree

My brother once went to cut down his own tree. Unfortunately, the weekend they went, there was a huge ice storm and he slid down the hill.

It makes for a great story every Christmas

Re: who cuts down there Xmas tree

This makes me jealous. I always wanted to do that! I have a childhood memory of going with my mom to this tree place on our way home from church and carrying the tree with my mom and my sisters (three blocks to our house) in our little faux fur white winter coats home to my house. Our coats werent so white after that!
