Re: Who designed your Wedding Gown?
have you gone through some magazines or theknot.com and looked at dresses you like the style of? maybe write down which designers you tend to like and go from there. My dress was my grandmas and handmade in the 40's. So Im not sure who the designer was. But me and my seamstress came up with the modifications that were made to it.

My gown is designed by Stephan Yearick. Thier website is junkie and they don't show very much but there is pics of my gown in my album if you want to peek. It was pretty pricey. I paid $4,650 for it but I also had a lot of custom changes done to it. Thats the good thing about the desinger, they will change anything you want. For instance, if you wanted to have a certian bodice of one dress and a skirt from another, they will make it for you. The gown is made custom to your measurements so they took like 15 different measurements from me. If you want more info of were I bought it, FM. Plus if you tell them you know me, they will probably give you 10% off

I also have a Stephen Yearick...(YSA MAKINO by Stephen Yearick to be exact) they also custom made my dress....the sample I tried on was more of a skeleton and then they made all the changes to my preference...in person it is just amazing the silk is gorgeous and the swaroski crystals are so pretty. As FC said they are pricey but I liked that you could really have a one of kind custom dress. If you like a lot of detail, crystal etc. you should look into him..I got mine at Bridal Reflections Carle Place HTH
