I think there was a similar question just the other day. I recommend Write Impression in Merrick 516-223-9224
Very high quality paper, tons to choose from and a variety of price ranges...good luck!

sorry I dont get to read the board much until the weekend, so I didnt realize there was a big thread already. I hate doing searches, I rarely find what I am looking for. But I will search now.

I am so happy w/Laura, from LA productions, a vendor on this board. I was so picky, and she was the only one that could custom make exactly what I wanted !!!! I posted a thread on her already.

I agree with Lizabeth (we are using the same vendor). She comes to your home and all. She will actually custom make your invites. She is a vendor here. LA Productions under invites. I needed 125 invites and I have a pretty fancy shmancy type so they cost about $850 but she definitely has cheaper ones.

I purchased my invitations for my engagement party from Simply Elegant NY. They are located in Floral Park, but she also works out of her home in Bayside. Gail was a pleasure to work and she had a variety of selection (reasonably priced invites too!) Check out their website for more info: Simply Elegant NY

I recommend Simply Elegant too. I went to Gail's home in Bayside. I got my wedding invites and matchbooks....now I am going back for my programs (I got lazy and don't want to make them myself - plus it was only about $20 more to have them printed on the paper I like!) She is great to work with and I got what I needed start to finish in about 2 weeks!
