Who did your Dress Alterations...

For those brides who bought there dress and had it altered else where: Who did you use? Would you recommend them?

I'm using Phyllis at Gownfind...she's in Dix Hills and does great work.

i am having my bridesmaids dresses altered at this great place in franklin square...moda alterations on hempstead tpke. its 2 italian seamstresses and i loved how maticulous they were with everything! FM me if you want their contact info.

I'm using Phyllis also. So far, so good, she managed to make my screwed up gown look normal again. I have my next fitting on the 18th, so we'll see how that goes.

I am also using Phyllis at Gownfind....cant beat her pricing and she is highly reccomended on here.

I must meet this Phyllis woman everyone raves about. Can someone FM me her phone number and info. After all of the bad stuff said about David's bridal alteraions I don't want to go back there ever again. Besides the fact that the people that work at that place are SOOOOOO nasty. Thanks girls!

i second philomenia - she is fantastic has been doing this forever - she did my leather gown and the silk underdress - great to deal with

I am using Phyllis also. She is amazing, she did an awesome job on my dress for my cousins wedding. She is also going to make me a bolero jacket b/c my mom wants my arms covered for the ceremony
