If your parents are paying for the wedding, and the invitation is written so that it says:
Mr. & Mrs. X request the honour of your presence at the wedding of A and B etc...
with their names on top, 'inviting' the guests, do the response cards get sent back to them, or to you? (assuming you do not live with your parents.)

They are being sent to me and FH, they will be addressed with both our names on them with the address to our house.

My parents are paying for the RH and Im having the RSVPs sent to their house in care of FH and I, but mainly because the mailmen where I live are incompetent and usually stick my mail in every mailbox but mine

My parents are paying but the cards are coming to me at my house because my parents are gone all the time and I am MUCH more organized when it comes to this stuff

if your parents are paying for it, it technically should go to them. But ask them if they mind if it goes to you. If not, just use your address...it'll probably make things easier for you when it comes to seating charts and just knowing who rsvp'ed and stuff like that.

FH's parents are helping us pay for the RH but since FH and I have to do the seating chart and all I'm having the RSVP's sent back to me personally.

Thats similar to my wording and we had the responses sent back to my parents house. My mom calls me when they mail comes and tells me who responded yes or no
