If your parents are paying for the wedding, and the invitation is written so that it says:
Mr. & Mrs. X request the honour of your presence at the wedding of A and B etc...
with their names on top, 'inviting' the guests, do the response cards get sent back to them, or to you? (assuming you do not live with your parents.)

I am having them sent to me since i am doing the seating chart! I wanna make sure i get them all...if they go to my parents they might lose them!

We are pretty much paying for everything-with the exception of a little bit here and there. But I think even if we weren't, I'd have them sent to us. I want them to come to me-for the seating chart and I have my own little wedding system going on with organizing things and everything ( I know I'm neurotic)!!!

My parents are insisting they get sent to them. This way if annoying cousins RSVP with their children my mom can get to them before I will!!!!

I don't live with my parents, but the RSVPs are going to their house. My mom will be calling me even more than she does already if they were coming to me to find out who sent them back.

Mine are going to go to my parents because were buying there house and I'm affraid that if I put our current address and we move then they won't get forwarded to the new address. If I wasn't moving then I would have them coming to me cause I want to have control over them and not have to worry about my mom asking who this one is or why I invited this person!!

We did it to our apt (which is also my parents house) b/c we live together.
We are also hosting the weddingalong w/ our parents- but idk if that matters.
BTW- I got an email and my invites are coning TODAY. I have to run to meet the ups guy in the rain- YAY

That's what my mom said, so I guess i'll do that as well. I kind of like the idea of having them sent to me and FH (we live together, but not with my parents) but my mom insists that they should be sent to them instead.

I guess it really depends on who wants the responsibility. I'm already so overwhelmed that I'm happy she's doing it for me.
