I sent my list to my MOH and FSIL. FSIL and FMIL want to add people I've never met or met once. I left them off b/c I didn't think it was necessary since they don't know me. I didn't want to add people just for a gift and wanted to keep it to a minimum since I don't want the girls and my mom paying alot of $. I'm not even inviting my co-workers that are invited to the wedding. I am inviting his co-workers though b/c I've met them and they're all nice. FH told me they've asked him about it too.
Are you inviting people on FH's side like co-workers, people you don't know? IMO, I would find it weird to be invited to a shower of someone I've met once or don't know. I know they know him, but still.

Defentially no. Only close family and friends so my shower will be pretty small. I'm not worried about getting a zillion gifts.

I think it will be just close family (too big to invite EVERYONE from my family) and close friends from both sides

I'm not inviting FH's female co-workers even though I've met them numerous times. I'm only inviting my fam, his fam, my bp (obv), my friends, his female friends aaaand... thats it.

I am only inviting family and close friends. I wouldnt feel comfortable inviting people I dont know to my shower. I think a shower is supposed to be more intimate. IMO

the list i sent to my sister contained all the women who are invited to the wedding. i have no idea what happened after that. i know that my mom has spoken with FH about the list, but not sure what the ended up doing.
