Ok, My girlfriend got married this weekend and we were discussing tipping. Who do you tip that day and around how much do u tip?? You dont have to answer the amount but if you want to fine.. I just want to see if what everyone writes is what I think. Thanks

Well I don't know how much you should tip each and I would think that it would depend on how happy you were with your service but
DJ you can tip beyond the 20% to you Limo driver valet service if you have a day of Coordinator wait staff
....I am sure that I am forgetting someone

Yea its crazy how much you have to tip.. My friend said the best way is to make labeled envelopes but leave them open so that way you can add or remove money. Its funny we have to pay for them to eat and then tip them.. that adds up.. oh well its worth it!

Some aren't allowed to accept. I don't think that civil servants are allowed to accept a tip.

It does seem as though you will need a lot of cash the day of the wedding. I plan to make envelopes and give them to the Best Man to give out.
I think we will need to tip: Florist Hair Makeup Photographer and Assistant Maitre D' Bridal Attendant (s) DJ and MC Limo (if we have one)

I don't see why you have to tip anyone of your vendors if they are the owner of the business. They are profiting from all the money you give them. I would probably tip if they had someone working for them.

The funniest part is that there is always the 'service charge' like for reception halls it varys betwen 18% and 20% but you still have to tip them! (The Maitre D)
